Description

Skid steer loaders are indispensable machines on any jobsite. They are valuable because of their versatility. They are compact and mobile, getting into places where larger equipment cannot fit. They use a wide range of attachments from brushes to buckets to augers, which allow them to clean sidewalks, remove snow, move earth, carry logs and dig trenches, fence posts and footings. Skid steers can even be outfitted with tracks that improve their flotation. That means they can work in muddy conditions and on grass surfaces without tearing up the ground.

Skid steers can do a tremendous amount of work in the hands of a skilled operator. They can also do a great amount of damage and cause injury if not handled with care and respect. What they do is up to one person: the operator. This skid steer training program shows your trainees how to be safe and productive when operating one of these versatile machines in construction and mining applications.
